Hanborough & Freeland Church is committed to the safeguarding and protection of all children, young people and adults when they are vulnerable. 

If you have information about a safeguarding situation where a child or adult is in immediate danger, or requires immediate medical attention, call emergency services on 999.

Safeguarding at
Hanborough & Freeland Church

We are committed to the care, nurture of, and respectful pastoral ministry with, all children and adults when they are vulnerable. We work hard to ensure that we operate in line with current best practice, as recommended by the Church of England. These recommendations include areas such as day-to-day care, recruitment of staff and volunteers, DBS and training. The two PCC's have adopted the Church of England’s policies and best practice on safeguarding. You can see the current safeguarding policy by following the link below.
